Abstract:
To provide a golf ball which allows a user to obtain a sufficient carry by an iron full shot, have an advantage in a short game, and obtain an excellent hitting feeling, and is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: A golf ball comprises a core, an envelope layer, an intermediate layer and a cover, in which: the core comprises a single layer or a plurality of layers and is formed from a rubber composition; the envelope layer comprises a single layer or a plurality of layers and is formed from a resin material; the intermediate layer comprises a single layer and is formed from a resin material; the cover comprises a single layer of a thickness of 1.0 mm or less and is formed from a resin material; a Shore C hardness of a core surface, a Shore C hardness of an envelope layer-covering sphere surface, a Shore C hardness of an intermediate layer-covering sphere surface, and a Shore C harness of a ball surface satisfy conditions of (the Shore C hardness of the envelope layer-covering sphere surface)>(the Shore C hardness of the core surface), and (the Shore C hardness of the intermediate layer-covering sphere surface)>(the Shore C hardness of the ball surface); and when deflection quantities upon application of a prescribed load to the core and the ball are C, B(mm), B≥3.0, and 2.5≤C-B≤4.3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
