Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-process grinding machine that is able to sharply sorten an overall machining time inclusive of a span of grinding time, and to efficiently grind a workpiece speedily in a highly accurate manner.
SOLUTION: This multi-process grinding machine is equipped with two spindle units 41 and 42 with each work chyck 50 tochuck a workpiece 3, and a swiveling table 43 supporting these to spindle units 41 and 42 and indexing and swiveling so as to make these spindle units 41 and 42 correspond to each of two working positions P1 and P2, respectively. In this constitution, it is composed of setting up plural kinds of grinding attachments 44, 46 and 47 separately in these working positions P1 and P2 so as togrind each of different grinding part of the workpiece 3, and also a loader unit 45 to attach or detach the workpiece 3 to or from the work chuck 50 of the spindle unit 41 at the side of the working position P1, at this position P1 where there is the grinding attachment 44 being the shortest in the grinding time, respectively.
