Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide versatile furniture capable of being used for at least two kinds of use as it remains in an original mode without requiring addition or reduction of a constituent member or deformation of a combination of constituent members.SOLUTION: The versatile furniture comprises: a seat part 1 comprised of two divided members P1, P2 which are formed by halving a plate at a center portion along a division line having a width; main leg members 2, 3 which are arranged at positions in lower surfaces of the divided members P1, P2, the positions being located at at least both edges of the lower surfaces in a longitudinal direction of the division line in the divided members P1, P2, and which support divided members P1, P2 and have shapes generally parallel or generally tapered in a front view; and sub leg members 4, 5 which are arranged in a direction generally perpendicular to the division line of the divided members P1, P2 and arranged at positions in lower surfaces of the divided members P1, P2, the positions being located at edges on outer periphery, and which support the divided members P1, P2. An upper surface of the seat part 1 is used as a seating face of a chair and the versatile furniture is also used as a supporting stand of a panel body such as a white board by inserting the panel body between the divided members P1, P2 and the two main leg members 2, 3 located there.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
