Title:
NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3213458
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance cycle performance by using a specific ratio of fluorine- containing polyimide resin based on the total weight of the fluorine-containing polyimide resin and carbon powder as a binder which is dissolved in slurry for applying to a negative electrode.
CONSTITUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a negative electrode manufactured by applying slurry prepared by kneading carbon powder capable of absorbing/desorbing a cation such as a lithium ion and a binder solution obtained by dissolving a binder in an organic solvent to a current collector, then by drying and solidifying. As the binder, 0.5-5wt.% fluorine- containing polyimide resin based on the total weight of the fluorine-containing polyimide resin and the carbon powder is used. The fluorine-containing polyimide resin preferably contains a fluorine-containing polyimide bond represented by the formula.
