To provide athletic performance monitoring system and method with which data related to athletic performance is recorded automatically and athletes, coaches and trainers can utilize the data for analysis after the performance.

Data and information are offered to athletes by utilizing GPS data. With the system and method, for example, route information can be offered to the athletes and/or trainers of the athletes for planning, target setting and calibration before games. The system and method can arbitrarily offer real-time information to the athletes while the game is held, for example, in order to help them to reach the target established in advance. Moreover, the data and information collected through the system and method can be a help for the athletes and the trainers of the athletes in the analysis after the game as it help them evaluate past performance and improve future performance.
