In this multi-speed transmission, a shift driving mechanism has a shift rod 51 fitted to and inserted into a hollow central shaft of a driven gear 12 on the inside of a plurality of cam rods C and moving the cam rods C by the movement in the axial direction, and a shift rod moving mechanism for moving the shift rod 51 in the axial direction, and the shift rod moving mechanism is arranged between a clutch 5 and a driven gear (n), and acts on an end part of the shift rod 51.
