Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for attaining the merits of multi- stage bearings, in a multi-stage bearing load leveling method and a device thereof for leveling respective loads of the bearings which are mounted in multiple stages and supports a rotating shaft, by facilitating the adjustment of the load applied onto the respective bearings.
CONSTITUTION: This method consists of circular bearing stands 19 which can move freely in the axial direction of a main spindle to be supported and are disposed in multiple stages in the axial direction, and where a bearing is fitted in an inner periphery part, a casing 18 which is held by inserting the outer periphery edge of the bearing stand 19 in the inner periphery surface, pressure chambers 26 which are provided between the bearing stand 19 and the casing 18 and move the bearing stand 19 in the axial direction by charging working medium in it, and piping 32 which can communicate the respective pressure chambers 26 with each other, and can pressurize the pressure chamber 26 by communication with a working medium source 27.
