Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a shaft body having a ring like head part by changing the attitude of a raw material on the way in a multi stage heading machine to form the raw material from rough to precise that while the raw material is transferred stage by stage over heading stations provided with a die and a punch respectively.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary unit 30 is attached on a die block instead of a die, a pair of rotary bodies 31 are installed on this rotary unit 30, and a rack body 37 being rotated linking to driving of a crank shaft 7 is engaged to a gear 32b of a rotary disk 32. When an intermediate raw material X3 having a spheric head part d at an end of a shaft part a is struck in between the rotary disk 32, the shaft part a is stood so as be crossed orthogonally with the direction of striking with the punch, in this state, the intermediate raw material X3 is made to be projected out with a knock-out pin 38.
