PURPOSE: To provide a buffle plate fixing structure for preventing an occurrence of acoustic vibration caused by Karman vortex in a multi-tube type heat exchanger which stores a group of pipes.
CONSTITUTION: Space rows parallel to each other having no pipe row are formed at equal distances on a substantial central line connecting a gas inlet port 2 at a side surface of a cylinder to a gas outlet port 3 of the cylinder and/or from a central line C. Buffle plates 5 are arranged at each of the space rows. The buffle plates 5 are constructed such that a plurality of tubular members are arranged at the buffle plates 5 in an equal-spaced apart relation and in parallel with a group of pipes 4, extremity ends of the fixing pins 13 fixed at the upper and lower tube plates are fitted into the upper and lower end openings of the tubular member 11, thereby the tubular members are fixed to the upper and lower pipe plates and further fixed to the upper and lower pipe plates.
