Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-wire electric discharge machining device that quickly removes fine bubbles and machined waste generated by electric discharge machining from a machining point.SOLUTION: A wire R of a cutting wire part 320 is expanded with certain tension along a vertical direction, and run in an upward direction (an arrow direction Q) from below an ingot I. An ingot I is subjected to slicing in machining liquid F while the ingot I is moved in a lateral direction P relative to the wire R of the cutting wire part 320. Bubbles and machined waste generated during the slicing are promptly exhausted from grooves of the ingot I to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
