Abstract:

To provide a low-cost multiaxial type gravity measuring sensor which can measure a relative value of a gravity change with high accuracy, which has a design tolerance, and which is easy to manufacture.

A multiaxial type gravity sensor includes: a plurality of sensor units 4a, 4b, 4c for uniaxial gravity measurement, which are arranged at an arbitrarily-selected predetermined angle to the earth axis with a predetermined attitude; and a common base 10 on which the plurality of sensor units for uniaxial gravity measurement can be accurately and surely fixed. The base 1 is made of metal which is easy to precisely machine in order to form a polygonal prism having three or more arbitrary number of fixing facets 3a, 3b, 3c on which the sensor units for uniaxial gravity measurement are arranged and a base plane having the earth axis, a column, the sensor unit fixing facets, and the base plane.
