Abstract:
To improve the quality of a printed image by reducing the positional deviation of a dot caused by a timing lag in a main scanning direction by plural beams at a synchronization detecting position.
A CPU 106 stores light quantity correction data A corresponding to the synchronization detecting position of every two beams in a register 107, and selectors 108-1 and 108-2 select the data A at the synchronization detecting time. The data A is set so that the time interval ΔT of a signal that a synchronization detector 4 detects plural beams may be an ideal value.
