To easily fit a temperature relay and to reduce the cost by providing a recess on the outer face of a casing, arranging the temperature relay in the recess, fitting a fan motor on its outside, and fixing the temperature relay with the casing and the fan motor.

The casing of a blower 10 is constituted of a storage section 18 storing a multiblade fan 16 and a cover section 20 for covering the upper face of the storage section 18. A recess 26 is provided at the position of the cover section 20 where a fan motor 12 is fitted, and a temperature relay 28 is fixed in the recess 26 by an adhesive or silicone. The recess 26 storing the temperature relay 28 is covered by the fan motor 12 so that the flange face of the fan motor 12 is kept in contact with the recess 28. The fitting part of the temperature relay 28 is not required, thus the cost is reduced, its fitting work is merely to fit it to the recess 26, and workability is improved.
