Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin multicolored pattern warp knitted fabric which has a plurality of stable jacquard knitted structures and exhibits a multicolored delicate color pattern; and to provide a method for knitting the same.SOLUTION: A warp knitting machine used for knitting a multicolored pattern warp knitted fabric includes a plurality of jacquard reeds JB1 and JB2 capable of knitting a pattern structure. The multicolored pattern warp knitted fabric includes a knitted structure knitted by the jacquard reeds JB1 and JB2 and one knitting needle row N in such a manner that a plurality of jacquard knitted structures are superposed. To the jacquard reeds JB1 and JB2, there are supplied respective knitting yarns having colors different from each other or respective knitting yarns formed of materials exhibiting colors different from each other by piece-dyeing. By using the jacquard reeds JB1 and JB2, the jacquard knitted structures are each knitted while a basic structure including a pair of repeating units and a varied structure obtained by varying the basic structure are combined. At the same time, knitting is performed in such a manner that stitch positions lacking loops in the jacquard knitted structures are complemented. The knitting yarns of sinker loop portions in any of pattern structures or each pattern structure of the jacquard knitted structures are exposed to a front side, thereby exhibiting a color pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
