Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a multicolor image forming device which prevents a gap between a developer carrier and an image carrier from being affected by the transmission of driving force to the developer carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A driving transmitting gear 129 is installed on the image carrier 1 and a developercarrying gear is installed on the developer carrier 110a so that the carrier 110a can be rotated by the driving force of the carrier 1. Besides, a fence-like member 127 receiving reaction in accordance with the transmission of the driving force of the carrier 110a is provided in a device main body or the carrier 1 and an abutting member 128 abutting on the fence-like member 127 is provided on a developing cartridge. Thus, the abutting member 128 abuts on the fence-like member 127 at the pressurizing action time of a pressure mechanism and the gap between the carriers 110a and 1 can be prevented from being fluctuated.
