Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defective image so-called verminulated print when transferring an image as to cardboard by means of a contact transfer device.
SOLUTION: In the image forming device for forming a bicolor image, black and red, when an image in a single color, using only black toner, is formed by a first developing device 4, grid potential which is different from the one used for bicolor image formation is applied to a second electrifier 7 provided downstream in the direction of the rotation of a photoreceptor 1, thereby re- electrifying the photoreceptor 1 on which the black toner has been formed, and increasing a transfer force. Thus, the occurrence of a defect in the image to be transferred to recording paper 12 by means of the belt transfer device 8 is prevented, and the satisfactory image is transferred to the recording paper 12.
