Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality color image high in surface gloss regardless of an image part and a non-image part, reduced in unevenness and fogging, and excellent in graininess and also tone reproducibility by utilizing toner to be formed on a transfer body regardless of the kinds of images.
SOLUTION: By this method, exposure for forming latent images developing by the toner of cyan, magenta and yellow, transfer of toner images and fixing of the toner images on the transfer body are performed. By the exposure, the latent image of each color is formed so that the angle of straight line connecting the most adjacent picture elements of the latent image of each color is different by each color. The toner having specified material is used. Further, the two-dimensional light quantity distribution of a transfer body inside reflection component and the two-dimensional light quantity distribution constituted of the sum of the transfer body inside reflection component and a transfer body surface reflection component are found, and the transfer body where the ratio of a light quantity component within a range of 0.5-10 cycle/mm out of frequency spectrum obtained by making the two-dimensional Fourier transformation of former two-dimensional reflection light quantity distribution and the similar light quantity component of the latter is from 1:1 to 1:2 is used.
