PURPOSE: To provide a multicolor thermosensitive recording material having excellent image preservability and color separability.

CONSTITUTION: A multicolor thermosensitive recording material comprises two or more thermosensitive recording layers laminated on a support to color develop in different hues, wherein all the layers each contains aromatic isocyanate compound and imino compound as main ingredients, and the second or following laminated layers each contains heat fusible substance. An intermediate layer containing water soluble polymer and/or water insoluble polymer latex as main ingredients is provided between the recording layers to obtain the recording material.
