Abstract:
To provide a multifaced substrate for an electro-optic device, which can uniformly transfer a liquid-repellent thin film to a partition wall.
A multifaced substrate 10 for an electro-optic device comprises a plurality of panels 11. In each of the panels 11, partition walls are formed which partition a pixel region to which a liquid constituent material of an electrooptical element is applied by a droplet discharge method. Between at least the partial ones of the plurality of panels 11, receiving members 50 are formed which receive a transfer roller for transferring a liquid-repellent thin film to the partition wall so as to withstand the liquid constituent material, and the partition walls are taller than the receiving members 50.
