Abstract:
To provide a multifilament yarn having good processability and excellent dimensional stability both mechanically and thermally.SOLUTION: A multifilament yarn comprises core-sheath type conjugate long fibers having a core component of polyethylene terephthalate and a sheath component of a copolymerized polyester having a lower melting point than the polyethylene terephthalate, in which a total fineness of the multifilament yarn is 150 to 1800 decitex and the sum of an intermediate elongation (X) and a dry heat shrinkage (Y) at 150°C×15 minutes of the multifilament yarn is 20% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
