Abstract:
To provide a multifilamentary thin-film superconducting wire that can be manufactured without post-processing, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The multifilamentary thin-film superconducting wire of the present invention has a plurality of non-superconducting layers located on a substrate, and a rare earth based oxide thin film located above the substrate and the plurality of non-superconducting layers, where the rare earth based oxide thin film contains doped or undoped rare earth elements (RE), barium (Ba), copper (Cu) and oxygen (O), and satisfies the general formula REBa2Cu3O7-d (where 0≤d≤0.8), and where the substrate is a textured substrate of the rare earth based oxide thin film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
