Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having a good heat resistant lubricative layer which is excellent in heat resistance, a coated property, a slipping property, etc., good in a traveling property of a thermal head, and free from gathering of tails or wearing of the thermal head.
CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer sheet wherein a thermal transfer color material layer is formed on one side face of a base material sheet and a heat resistant lubricative layer is formed on the other side face, the heat resistant lubricative layer consists of a heat resistant particulate consisting of thermoplastic resin containing a hydroxy group and polyisocyanate, and a binder. Then, a coating solution contains the heat resistant particulate.
