The multifunctional electronic component is provided with a flexible circuit board 40, a rocking body 170 installed on the flexible circuit board 40 in free rocking and equipped with a pressing part 177 pressing a switch 51 fitted on the flexible circuit board 40, and a rotating body 130 installed around an outer periphery of the rocking body 170 in free rotation and changing an electric output of an electric function part fitted between itself and the flexible circuit board 40. A rocking knob 280 and a rotating knob 300 are fitted to the rocking body 170 and the rotating body 130, respectively, from a top face side in a press-fit or snap-in engagement.
