Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the operability of a multifunctional electronic timepiece by changing over a rotary switch, a switch member and a sliding pinion.
CONSTITUTION: A sliding pinion 26 is meshed with the setting train wheel of a mode contact spring 105 being a rotary switch at the usual position of a winding stem 22 to change over function by the rotation of the winding stem 22. In the first and second steps of the winding stem, a switch member 25 becomes a continuity state with respect to contacts 30i, 30j to enable the selection of function by the combination with the rotary switch. Further, the electrical setting and mechanical setting of a 24hr hand of a date are performed in the first step of the winding stem and the electrical setting of time is performed in the second step thereof.
