To provide a half insole having functions as the insole for ladies' shoe with a heel, namely, retaining/stabilizing functions of the heel and holding/reinforcing functions of the arch of the foot, reducing the burden applied to the root part of the foot fingers, preventing its deviation in the shoe, having superior walking property comprehensively preventing the hallux valgus and the like and being good for the foot health.

This half insole is provided with an outline of the sole in a range from the heel back end to a position near the head of the metatarsal bone, and comprises an elastic or viscoelastic pad with soft cushioning performance integrally having a heel stabilizing recess, a foot arch supporting projection, a projection near a position between inner instep and outer instep sides in a boundary part between the foot arch range and the heel range, and a projection near the position of a second head of the metatarsal bone.
