Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily provide a continuous underground wall with various functions such as a high water-shutting function, water permeable function, and acid resisting/alkali resisting function, in consideration of the purpose and use of the continuous underground wall or the peripheral environment.
SOLUTION: A multifunctional underground continuous wall 1 is made up of three layers consisting of a functional layer 4 formed by a functional material that is interposed in the middle part, and structural wall bodies 2, 3 that have been arranged on both sides of the functional layer 4 respectively. As the functional materials, one kind or a plurality kinds of materials selected out of the group consisting of water impermeable material, water permeable material, acid resisting/alkali resisting material, and purifying adsorbent material are used, so that various function can be given in accordance with the use or purpose of the underground wall 1.
