PURPOSE: To minimize assay noise by having a multilayer analysis element made up of a porous development sheet and a porous distribution sheet of analyte and a porous reaction sheet containing a fixed amount of protein bonded specifically to analyte by immobilization.
CONSTITUTION: A fibrous or non-fibrous porous development layer 101 containing a fixed amount of a fluorescent label made of an analyte component or an equivalence is provided on the upper layer. A distribution sheet 111 which is produced by screening a glass fiber suspension having a red agarose added thereto is provided therebelow to impart a light shielding property. Then, a porous reaction sheet 121 containing a fixed amount of protein specifically bonded to analyte by immobilization is provided on the lower layer.
