Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor capable of preventing withstand voltage failure.SOLUTION: A multilayer capacitor includes a laminate body, an outer electrode, a first dummy electrode, and a second dummy electrode. The laminate body is formed by alternately laminating internal electrodes and dielectric layers and has a protective layer. The outer electrode covers an end surface of the laminate body, so as to be connected to the internal electrode. The first dummy electrode is provided at a side of a side surface of the internal electrode, so as to be exposed to the end surface and the side surface of the laminate body. The second dummy electrode is provided on the protective layer, so as to be exposed to the end surface and side surface of the laminate body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
