Abstract:
To provide a multi-layer ceramic electronic component which is high in specific resistance and excellent in a high-temperature load life when ceramic containing volatile components is used.SOLUTION: A multi-layer ceramic electronic component includes an inner layer part where an inner ceramic layer and an internal electrode layer are stacked alternately, and a margin part provided on a lateral side of the inner layer part in a direction orthogonal to a stacking direction of the inner layer part. The inner ceramic layer includes a dielectric composition containing germanium (Ge), and the margin part has an auxiliary layer including a dielectric composition containing Ge and vanadium (V). When Cα1 and Cα2 represent the contents of Ge and V included in the auxiliary layer, respectively, Cα2/Cα1 is 3 or more and 100 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
