To provide a lightweight multilayer fabric having high flameproofness, heat resistance and flame retardancy, and to obtain bake-processed products by baking said multilayer fabric.
The multilayer fabric 10 comprises mutually laminated two ground fabrics 12 and 13 each comprising ground fabric compositional yarns 11 made from phenolic resin and joining yarns 14 made from phenolic resin and mutually joining the respective ground fabrics 12 and 13, wherein there is a space 15 between the ground fabrics 12 and 13. The 1st bake-processed product is an activated carbon fabric obtained by carbonization treatment followed by activation treatment of said multilayer fabric 10, wherein the carbonization treatment comprises baking the multilayer fabric 10 in a steam atmosphere. The 2nd bake-processed product is an amorphous carbon fabric obtained by baking said multilayer fabric 10 in a nitrogen atmosphere.
