The golf ball comprises the solid core, the outer cover layer and the casing disposed between the core and the outer cover layer. The core has an outer diameter being equal to or less than about 4.01 cm (about 1.58 in). The casing has an outer diameter of greater than about 4.01 cm (about 1.58 in) and a material hardness from about 30 to about 70 Shore D. The outer cover layer has a material hardness of less than about 45 Shore D.
