Title:
CONTROLLER FOR BLOWOFF TYPE WIND TUNNEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3024952
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently set the Reynold's number Re of a measurement part and to prevent a body to be tested and a wind tunnel balance from being applied with an excessive shock due to the change of air current state in the beginning of a wind tunnel test.
SOLUTION: According to values representing the Reynold's number set value Re of the measurement part 8, the Mach number set value M of the measurement part, and all temperatures T0a, T0b.K2 of a collection tunnel 6, a total pressure arithmetic circuit 39 derives the target total pressure P01 of the collection tunnel and then the opening degree of a pressure governor valve 5 is controlled. In the starting period W0 of the wind tunnel test, the total temperature T0a set by a total temperature setter 24 is used. Consequently, an abrupt change in air current state exerting adverse influence on the wind tunnel test is prevented. Then variation in the Raynold's number due to variation in the total temperature is reduced by using the value T0b.K2 obtained by multiplying the values of a total temperature conversion coefficient K2(=T0a/T0b1), held by a holding circuit 26 using the total temperature T0b1 detected at a switching point t3 of time, and the total temperature T0b detected by the total temperature detector 23 by a multiplier 36.
