Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve flexibility, mechanical strength, wear resistance, and damage resistance by specifying the Shore A hardness of all TPUs used in individual layers, inside the layers, and between the layers and the radio of the total weight of all shading materials contained in the layers to the weight of a film.
CONSTITUTION: The Shore A hardness used individual layers is less than 95, and the difference in Shore A hardness of all TPUs used inside the layers and between the layers is less then 15. At least one layer contains at least one kind of shading material, and the total weight of all shading materials in a film is at least 3% of the weight of the film. The layers are joined together by using an adhesive, coextruding, or applying heat and pressure to obtain a thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) film. The shading materials contains pigment, fillers, and dye, and their contents are 0.5-15 wt.%. The film is preferably manufactured by coextrusion.
