Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic resin having permanent antistatic properties while minimizing adverse effects on the inherent properties of the resin, such as heat resistance and mechanical strengths.
CONSTITUTION: The multilayer structure polymer consists of 10-50wt.%, based on the entire polymer, innermost layer comprising a cross-linked polymer of a Tg of 50°C or above, 5-25wt.%, based on the entire polymer, second layer comprising a flexible polymer of a Tg of 10°C or below, 10-40wt.%, based on the entire polymer, third layer comprising a flexible polymer having a Tg of 10°C or below and comprising units derived from an unsaturated monomer containing a polyalkylene oxide chain and units derived from an organic compound containing an ethylenic unsaturation and a hydrophilic group in the molecule, and 10-50wt.%, based on the entire polymer, outermost layer comprising a polymer having a Tg of 50°C or above and melt flow properties. This polymer is dispersed in a thermoplastic resin to obtain the objective antistatic thermoplastic resin composition.
