To provide a woven fabric for industrial use, having uniform water filtration degree, strong bonding force and excellent surface smoothness and produced by using a pair of yarns for binding a warp and a ground yarn as a set and connecting the upper side layer to a moving-face side layer while forming an upper side face by weaving with an upper woven fabric.

The multilayer woven fabric for industrial use is provided with at least an upper face side layer and a moving-face side layer connected with each other by a yarn binding warp-ground yarns weaving the upper face side layer and the moving face side layer. The yarn for binding a warp and a ground yarn is used at least as the upper face side warp. The moving face side warp passes under a plurality of consecutive moving face side wefts to form a long crimp at the moving face side.
