Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor whose life at a high temperature and a high voltage can be improved when dielectric ceramic thickness is only 3-10μm.
SOLUTION: This capacitor is formed by alternately laminating dielectric layers 1 and inner electrode layers 2 composed of base metal. The dielectric layer 1 has main crystal phases composed of titanium barium zirconate, and segregation phases containing total amount 0.4-1.2 pts.wt. of at least one kind out of LI, Si and B by Li2O, SiO2, Ba2O3 conversion to 100 pts.wt. of titanium barium zirconate. In this case, the dielectric layer 1 has a thickness of 3-10μm. 60 % or more of the number of the segregation phases 4 existing on the fractured surface of the dielectric surface 1 are made crystalline.
