PURPOSE: To impart elasticity and washability and in addition, such functionalities as water absorbing properties, moisture absorbing properties, heat insulating properties, moisture releasing properties, lightweight and compactability when it is folded by laminating a number of thin fiber sheets each prepd. by integrating a base fabric and a fiber web to prepare an central cotton.

CONSTITUTION: A fiber sheet 1 is prepd. by entangling and integrating both fibers of a base fabric 2 such as a non-woven fabric and a carded web 3 of staple fibers by means of entangling treatment of a needle punching device. A multi-layered structure-packed body 5 is obtd. by laminating 10-20 sheets of these sheets and seaming several parts in the thickness direction with a thread 4. This is packed in a side ground to make it to be a packed body. The fiber sheet 1 of each layer can be selected in accordance with the requirement. In addition, as the laminated sheets 1 hold independence each other, a pad body being hardly bent down and with high shape-holdability can be obtd.
