Abstract:
To provide a synthetic paper excellent in both of self-extinguishing properties and processability, and capable of being processed into a luminaire cover or the like for a heat generating light source to be used safely.
A multilayered synthetic material 1 is formed by providing an intermediate layer 4, which is formed of a plastic material such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene terephthalate or the like, between two upper and back outer layers 5 comprising a non-combustible material to bond the same to both layers by laminate processing. This multilayered synthetic material is processed into a globe, a paper-covered lamp stand, cover, lamp shade or the like of a candle or a luminaire.
