Abstract:

To provide a multilayered woven fabric having gauze-like feeling, and having excellent heat retaining properties, flexibility, and air permeability.

The multilayered woven fabric is constituted by a front surface fabric 11 and a back surface fabric 12 made of a plane woven fabric, and a three-dimensional intermediate fabric 13 present between the front and back surface fabrics, and obtained by binding a pair of facing base fabrics 13a made of the plane woven fabric with pile warp yarns. The front and back surface fabrics 11 and 12, and the three-dimensional intermediate fabric 13 are bound by binding parts 14 at a prescribed interval. The multilayered woven fabric has the excellent heat retaining properties, flexibility, air permeability, and hygroscopicity because of bulkiness caused by the three-dimensional intermediate fabric 13, and further has cool feeling because of the gauze-like front and back surface fabrics 11 and 12.
