Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the multimedia communication terminal that relieves the load of an exchange station and can quickly connect to a communication opposite party.
SOLUTION: A telephone directory memory 11 stores a telephone directory database and image data and one record consists of a telephone directory memory number, a telephone number, a name, a secret flag, a transmission/reception propriety flag, a caller information notice flag and an address storing the image data or the like. A main control section 10 has a CPU, a ROM and a RAM or the like. The operation of a portable video a telephone terminal is realized by totally controlling each section of the multimedia communication terminal, and in the case of conducting dial processing, the telephone directory memory 11 is referenced to make dialing according to a connection procedure in response to a type of a terminal of a connection destination.
