The multimedia doll 1 has the microcomputer 2 which uses a voice as the input/output means for information and various communication line functions 3 including a telephone line, a computer network, and the internet. To allow the microcomputer 2 to use the voice as the input means for information, the multimedia doll 1 has a microphone 10 in its mouse part 1a, etc., and a speaker 11 in a proper part such as an ear part 1b. The communication line functions 3 are so installed as to access respective sections of the internet, an emergency telephone line for police dialing, etc., not to mention an ordinary telephone line.
