Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the recognition performance of an incoming call and the transmission operability by allowing the user to recognize the incoming call addressed to a communication terminal even on a computer terminal. SOLUTION: A caller side protocol converter LT2 is provided with a database 100, which stores information denoting cross-reference between each of computer terminals CH1-CHn and communication terminals used by the user. In the case that a communication terminal make a call to other communication terminal or an incoming call addressed to the communication terminal comes from an external communication network, an incoming call signal is sent to a protocol converter WH1 at the called party to allow the communication terminal of the destination to conduct call reception processing and retrieves the computer terminal CH1 in cross reference with the destination communication terminal from the database 100 and informs the computer terminal CH1 of the arrival of the incoming call to allow the computer terminal CH1 to display incoming information.
