Abstract:

To provide a multimodal polymer by controlled radical polymerization in the presence of alkoxyamines.

There is provided a process for the preparation of a multimodal polymer by radical polymerization of at least one monomer in the presence of several alkoxyamines comprising the sequence of formula (1) (in which RL is a monovalent radical exhibiting a molar mass of 15 or more, A represents the core of the alkoxyamine and n is a non-zero integer, the said alkoxyamines exhibiting different values of n).
