Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polar-group-containing olefin copolymer which is produced by an easy and efficient method and is sufficiently improved in mechanical physical properties and adhesiveness.SOLUTION: There is provided a multinary polar group-containing olefin copolymer having three or more monomer units comprising a nonpolar monomer (X1) unit selected from ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, a polar monomer (Z1) unit selected from an epoxy group, a carboxyl group or a dicarboxylic acid anhydride group and the other noncyclic or cyclic monomer (Z2) unit as essential components, which is copolymerized in the presence of a transition metal catalyst.
