Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dispersion to a liquid of a relatively small bubble having a relatively large surface area for enhancing productivity by quickening process processing.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a process for making a multiphase mixture, and includes: a process of making a first fluid flow 216 flow via a process microchannel 210. that is, a process in which the first fluid flow includes at least one kind of liquid and/or at least one kind of gas and the process microchannel has an opening section 244; and a process of forming the multiphase mixture 218 by contacting with the first fluid flow by making a second fluid flow 272 flow in the process microchannel via the opening section, that is, a process in which the second fluid flow includes at least one kind of gas and/or at least one kind of microbody forming material and the first fluid flow forms a discontinuous phase dispersed in a continuous phase. Heat exchange may be executed between the process microchannel and a heating source or an endothermic source 290.
