To provide a multiple connection system screw-type terminal device which is satisfactory in operability in assembly work for decreasing a cost and does not need a large space for installation, owing to its compact size.

Each rotary tongue 25 is projected from a top of a cylindrical housing part 21 so as not to move along an axial direction of the housing part 21, where the cylindrical housing part is provided in one body with a body plate 20. A terminal plate 41 is fixed at the bottom of the housing part 21. A conductor-gripping material 50 is stored in the housing part 21, so as not to rotate but to move in parallel with a direction opposite to the direction of the terminal plate 41. A screw shaft 32, which is provided to the rotary tongue 25, is screwed and engaged with the conductor-gripping material 50. By the rotation of the screw shaft 32 accompanied by the rotation of the rotary tongue 25, the conductor-gripping material 50 is made to advance and retreat in the direction opposite to the direction of the terminal plate 41.
