To provide a multiple connection system screw-type terminal device which is satisfactory in operability in assembly work, decreases the ratio of inferior products so as to decrease cost, and does not need a large space for installation, owing to its compact size.
Each rotary tongue 25 is projected from a top of a cylindrical housing part 21 so as not to move along an axial direction of the housing part 21, where the cylindrical housing part is provided in a single body with a body plate 20. A bar-shaped contact 30 is inserted into a bar-shaped contact insertion hole 24, which is opened in the center portion of the rotary tongue 25, so that the bar-shaped contact will not rotate in relation to the rotary tongue 25 but moves along the axial direction. A terminal plate 41 is fixed at a bottom of the housing part 21. A screw shaft 32 is screwed in a female screw hole 46 made on the bottom. By rotating the bar-shaped contact 30 accompanied by the rotation of the rotary tongue 25, the screw shaft 32 moves in the axial direction thereof, in relation to the terminal plate 41. A conductor-gripping part 31 advances and retreats in the direction opposite to the direction of the terminal plate 41.
