To enable fine regulation of a torque transmitted with a multiple plate clutch by spring-elastically forming the inner side thin plate and/or an outer side thin plate in a region engaged with a gear part.
In a multiple plate clutch 1, a pressure fluid led into a first pressure chamber 27 via a passage 24 also receives rotary motion. A fluid can be led into a fluid chamber 37 via a passage 35 coaxially extended to the passage 24 and a branch passage 36. The fluid used for cooling heat to be generated reaches regions of thin plates 11, 12, and 18 bypassing a flow path hole 38 in a section positioned on the radial direction inner side of an oil distributor 20 and a penetrating opening 39 in a boss 16. Rotation of the multiple plate clutch 1 generates a pressure component, which is increased by the second power of rotating speed, and the pressure component loads a diaphragm 23. A force component caused by rotation loads a piston 28, and also a thin plate unit, and as a result fine moment regulation is affected.
