To provide a multiple electrode catheter simpler in construction than conventional ones.
This multiple electrode catheter (22) comprises a catheter body (24) extended in the longitudinal direction. The catheter body (24) has a plurality of hollow tubes (30a-e) extended in the longitudinal direction and a plurality of electrode assemblies. Each assembly comprises electrodes on the outside surface of the rear part section (26) of the catheter body (24) and conductive surfaces (32a, b) connected thereto. The conductive surfaces (32a, b) are extended to the head part section (28) of the catheter body (24) in hollow tubes (30a, 30b) relating to the number of the hollow tubes (30a-e). The conductive surfaces (32a, b) are electrically connected to one of respective electrodes (36; 38; 44; 48) to supply power. Accordingly, the multiple electrode catheter (22) in a simple structure can be manufactured.
