To provide a multiple-flow type condenser which prevents occurrence of a refrigerant leakage after a brazing work, a dimensional fault or a brazing filler clogging or the like of the distal end of a refrigerant passage of a tube in a header, in the condenser used in combination with an air conditioner or the like.
The multiple-flow type condenser comprises a dimensional control part, formed at a side plate disposed at the outside of many tubes for communicating with a pair of opposed headers to contact with the outside surface of the header and to be disposed at its distal end, in such a manner that the part of the distal end of the side plate is fixed to the header by an adhering means, such as spot welding or the like, in a state in which the dimensional control part is contacted with the outside surface of the header; and hence the side plate is assembled with the header to bring about a restriction in the rotation movement or the like in the inside direction of the condenser, the dimension of the outside direction and around a vertical axis core of the header to thereby prevent occurrence of the fault, such as the refrigerant leaking after the brazing work, dimensional fault or the like.
